CMS has a greater understanding of the shipment cooling requirements and has conducted a broader survey before establishing and designing its services. We do understand that there are few points where traffic congestions are quite often during the season and CMS has established two Emergency Cooling Terminals at Jhang and Moro to handle such situations. Shipments if delayed over longer hours on the road can reach these terminals for emergency cooling.
Location of these service terminals are
carefully planned with consistent distance in Kilometers from each other and
traveling time in hours. To handle situations in the case of power failures
heavy duty fixed generators are also made available at all service terminals
as backup plan.
